Tough Work

I think you could get at least one section of each different NET*S standard in my lesson plan but the one that relates the most would be all the sub sections of planning and designing learning environment and experiences which include 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E because they all deal with technology and my lesson plan requires students to use and input all their data on a digital
worksheet. The whole lesson plan revolves around the technology of the digital worksheet.

I learned through this experience that creating a truly effective lesson plan is quite difficult. The hardest part is trying to get the lesson plan to where substitute can walk in and read it and not be confused. You have to read the lesson plan and try to find a flaw in it. if you can't then you have yourself a good lesson plan. I also learned how difficult being a good teacher and how much more time you have to put into your job.

I used a lot of different search engines to get ideas and strategies. I used the ASSURE format which was required for this lesson plan. I also viewed lesson plan from former students to get a better understanding of this process. I learned to use Microsoft word and it's tools more effectively. Most of the tools I've never used so it was a lot of trial and error but I learned more about the tools.

The thing I liked least about this assignment was being a bit lost. I missed the class one class and it was the class where they went over this. I made it harder on me but hopefully i did well.

I like the whole process of the assignment and how I felt when i was done. You take all these class in education to get your degree and some of them don't make you feel any closer to being a teacher. This lesson plan assignment did. It made me feel like I was one more step closer to the teaching profession.
